Oceanfront Indian Wedding at Nobu Los Cabos

S&A’s celebration at Nobu Hotel Los Cabos unfolded across several days, beginning away from the formal wedding events with a portrait session among the rock formations along the Los Cabos coast. Against the water and open landscape, those photographs created a quieter introduction before the color, traditions, and gatherings that followed.

The pre-wedding celebrations then shifted completely in energy. The turmeric ceremony brought family and tradition into the photographs, followed by a color-filled gathering on the beach where movement, laughter, and the coastline became part of the story.

The Sangeet introduced another visual direction, with evening fashion, performance, design, and dancing changing both the pace and atmosphere of the photographs. By the wedding day, the celebration moved again, from getting ready and portraits around Nobu’s contemporary architecture to the ceremony and an evening reception shaped by candlelight, production, and a full dance floor.

What interested me throughout the celebration was how different each part felt while still belonging to the same wedding. The coastal portraits, daytime traditions, Sangeet, ceremony, and reception each called for a different approach to photography, from quieter, composed portraits to moments that were more spontaneous and driven by movement.
