Provence Wedding Celebration at Château de Berne

This September celebration at Château de Berne unfolded over two days in the Provençal countryside. We began with time together before the rehearsal dinner, photographing the couple and their guests in a much more relaxed setting before the pace changed for the wedding day.

The following morning started with the details and getting ready before the couple's first look. From there, we had time for portraits throughout the estate, moving between its stone architecture, gardens, vineyards, and open landscape before joining the guests for the ceremony.

Sofia Crokos Events planned the celebration, with floral design by Capucine Atelier Floral that worked naturally with the surroundings. As the ceremony moved into dinner, the long outdoor tables and landscape became part of the evening, followed by a party that felt completely different from the quieter moments earlier in the day.

As a destination wedding photographer, I appreciated having two days to capture this celebration. This extra time let me document more than just the formal wedding-day sequence. My focus is on capturing genuine moments of connection, joy, and celebration- the toasts, shared laughter, and emotional exchanges that make each wedding unique. The photographs reflect both the setting and the distinct energy of each part of the celebration.
