Mountain Wedding at The Little Nell Aspen

This wedding at The Little Nell brought a New York love story to Aspen for a celebration surrounded by the Colorado mountains. The celebration began with a relaxed rehearsal dinner, giving everyone time together in Aspen before the wedding day.

On the wedding day, we started with the details and getting ready before the couple's first look. We then had time for portraits around the property and against the mountain landscape, moving between quieter moments together and wider photographs that showed the scale of the surroundings.

The ceremony took place high above Aspen with the mountains stretching behind the couple and their guests. Mountain Occasions planned the celebration, while Aspen Branch's floral design complemented the landscape rather than competing with it, carrying that connection into the reception.

I enjoyed photographing this wedding for its variety throughout the celebration. The relaxed moments before the wedding, the first look, portraits, open mountain views, ceremony, and evening reception each gave me something different to work with while still feeling connected to Aspen.
