One of the things I love most about photographing weddings at the Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum is how effortlessly it allows us to create an incredible variety of images without ever leaving the neighborhood.

Located directly across from Central Park, the Guggenheim offers couples the best of both worlds: one of the most iconic architectural landmarks in New York and the natural beauty of Central Park just steps away. This makes planning a first look and portrait session remarkably easy and stress-free.

I often recommend scheduling your first look in Central Park before guests arrive. Within a few minutes' walk from the museum, we can find quiet, romantic locations surrounded by trees, winding paths, and beautiful light. It creates a private moment for the two of you while also allowing us to capture genuine emotions before the celebration begins.

Afterward, we can seamlessly move between the park and the museum for portraits. The contrast is what makes this location so special—one moment you're surrounded by the timeless landscapes of Central Park, and the next you're standing in front of Frank Lloyd Wright's architectural masterpiece. This variety gives your wedding gallery a distinctly New York feel while keeping the experience relaxed and efficient.
