Wedding Celebration at Amanzoe, Greece

This destination wedding at Amanzoe brought family and friends from China to Greece for a celebration that moved through very different parts of the property. The wedding day began with the details and getting ready before the couple’s first look and portraits among Amanzoe’s colonnades, stone pavilions, gardens, and open views.

The ceremony took place among the lavender, where the landscape offered a softer setting after the resort's strong architectural lines. That contrast became one of the most distinctive parts of photographing the day, moving from structured portraits around Amanzoe into a ceremony surrounded by the colors and textures of the Greek countryside.

Fashion was also central to the celebration. The bride wore Elie Saab Bridal for the ceremony and later changed into Vivienne Westwood for the reception, with Mach & Mach shoes and Harry Winston jewelry. Mitheo Events planned and designed the wedding, with florals by Petridis Creations and custom event elements by PPDA Bespoke Event Designers.

As evening approached, the celebration moved to Amanzoe Beach Club by the sea. Stylebox Rentals and Maestro Audio Visual Group helped shape the reception setting, where dinner, speeches, dancing, and the changing nighttime atmosphere created a completely different visual chapter from the ceremony earlier in the day.

Photographing the wedding from the main resort's architecture through the lavender ceremony and into the waterfront reception gave me three very different environments within one celebration. Film Blanc documented the wedding on film, while my focus throughout the day was to let each setting have its own character without losing the connection between the couple, their guests, and the destination.
