Celebrating a Wedding at Caresse Bodrum

Caresse Bodrum’s private cove is central to the wedding experience. Outdoor settings include the Main Deck, Residence Deck, beach, Sunset Terrace with Infinity Pool, and Privee Deck, giving couples different environments for ceremonies, cocktails, dinners, and receptions while maintaining a connection to the Aegean.

The waterfront spaces are particularly suited to celebrations that change as the day progresses. A daytime ceremony can keep the sea and coastline visually present, while lighting, floral design, tablescapes, staging, and entertainment can transform the same broader setting considerably after sunset.

Photographically, I like that contrast. The resort’s architecture, gardens, terraces, and open water provide cleaner and quieter settings for portraits earlier in the day. At the same time, the reception can become much more atmospheric once event lighting and production take over.

For weddings using several areas of the resort, I would build portrait time and transitions into the schedule rather than treating them as an addition between events. This is especially important when couples want both portraits around the property and time along the waterfront before the ceremony begins.
