Private Celebration at Faena Forum with Jennifer Hudson

This private celebration at Faena Forum brought together detailed event design, dinner, guests, and an evening of live entertainment featuring Jennifer Hudson. The Forum looked completely different once the event was underway, with lighting and production transforming its contemporary interiors for the celebration.

One thing I value when photographing events like this is making sure guests can enjoy the evening without feeling the constant presence of a camera. I work quietly and pay attention to what is developing around me, especially during private events where the guests' experience matters. That allows conversations, reactions, and unexpected moments to happen naturally.

Jennifer Hudson's performance became a major part of the evening and naturally changed the pace of the photographs. During live entertainment, I'm watching both the stage and what is happening around it. The performance matters, but so do the guests reacting to it, the movement in the room, and the moments that happen away from the spotlight.
